Proud, still, and unmistakably present — the Concrete Rooster is hand-poured from raw concrete and finished entirely by hand. Cast iron legs are embedded directly into the concrete body during the pour, becoming a permanent part of the piece. His beak and comb are hand-painted, adding a quiet touch of color to an otherwise raw and elemental form. Each one carries the subtle marks of its making: slight variations in texture and weight that make every piece its own.
Gallery Collection — The most labor-intensive finish, born from a multi-step layering process that cannot be replicated — not even by the hands that made it. The movement of pigment through wet concrete, the decisions made in the moment, the way color settles and blooms — all of it is unrepeatable. These are not products. They are small works of art.
When it’s gone, it’s gone.
