Marilyn French Coastal Concrete Bulb Vase — Gallery Collection

Inspired by the sentiment “beloved and shining,” the Marilyn French Coastal Concrete Bulb Vase pairs the quiet beauty of French coastal style with the expressive presence of a single poppy. Soft coastal blue and pale driftwood-gray tones recall sea-washed shutters, weathered wood, and gentle light along the shore.

The vessel is hand-cast in integrally pigmented concrete, bringing color into the material itself. Cast separately, the poppy is hand-painted to accentuate its petal contours, then permanently bonded to the vessel as a sculptural floral relief. Its dimensional form offers an expressive counterpoint to the understated coastal palette.

Named in honor of Marilyn, this piece is a study in softness and strength. The lasting bloom reflects her quiet, luminous spirit, celebrating the warmth she brings to everyday life. Gentle coastal color and an expressive flower come together in a piece that feels beloved, shining, and full of life.
