When it came out of the mold, it looked like a world map, coastlines and open water in crackled blue and cream, a solid sea pooling at the base. Something about it was nautical. Something about it moved. And there, on one side, the concrete had settled into the quiet shape of a siren, as if she had always been there, waiting to be found.
Loreley- Named for the legendary siren of the Rhine, who sat atop her cliff near St. Goar and lured sailors off course with her song. Crackled blue fractures across warm cream like an ancient chart of unmapped waters. Deep ocean blue anchors the base, pulling the eye down into the depths. Beautiful, commanding, and impossible to look away from.
Round at the base and drawing upward to a 1" opening, this bulb vase stands 5.1" tall with a 2.75" body. Every vase is sealed on the inside, making it suitable for fresh or dried flowers. Gallery Collection pieces are also sealed on the outside to bring out the depth of color. Cork is placed on the bottom to protect your surfaces.
Each Gallery Collection piece is born from a deliberate, unhurried process. Small batches of pigmented concrete are layered by hand directly into the mold, each coat applied with intention, leaving subtle pockets of air that become part of the surface itself. As the layers build, those voids evolve into the kind of texture that only time and weathering can create in nature. Each piece is truly one of a kind.
